Principals

I am excited to be part of the Cool Cat family! I am looking forward to getting to know our students and families.

My career in education began in 1997 in Richardson ISD, where I taught 1st and 4th grades. I have been a part of the Wylie ISD family since 2005. During my time in Wylie ISD, I served as a 4th grade classroom teacher and a campus administrator.

I earned my Associate of Science Degree at Southwestern Christian College (Terrell), my Bachelor of Science in Education from Texas Woman’s University (Denton), and my Masters in Educational Leadership from Dallas Baptist University (Dallas). I hold certifications in Elementary Education Grades K-6, Early Childhood, and Principal Leadership.

I have been married to my amazing husband, John, since 1997 and we have three wonderful children. We have lived in Wylie since 2002.

I believe our students are like wet cement, and as educators we have a tremendous opportunity to make an impression upon them and I aim to make mine a positive one! It is going to be a great school year!
