I am so proud to be a part of the Hartman Elementary family!  Our school is a place where students matter most, and teachers create a loving environment.  Kids know they are cared for here, and excel because of that!  At Hartman , we celebrate those successes and strive every day, with every child, in every way, to be the BEST!

My two greatest core beliefs in education are teaching students to love learning and loving them as they learn. I look forward to working alongside you as we travel this exciting adventure through Hartman Elementary together!  #hartmanpride

Hi everyone! I am Arley Barton, and I am excited to be starting my second year at Hartman.

I have 2 awesome kids.  Cameron has headed off to Arkansas to play baseball at Arkansas Baptist College.  Alysa will be a junior at Wylie High and is a Varsity cheerleader. We have two dogs, an Olde English Bulldogge named Brooklyn and an Australian Shepard named Peanut.

I grew up in Garland and graduated from Naaman Forest High School.  I attended University of North Texas and earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies.  Later, I went back to Texas A&M Commerce and earned my Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction along with my principal certificate. I recently earned my Superintendent certification.

I believe all students possess great potential and we, as educators, have a responsibility to help them identify and work towards their goals.  It takes a village to build up all students and I am excited to be a part of the Hartman Village.
